With 22 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Shah has been the Director of Doncaster Physiotherapy Clinic since 2007. He graduated from the University of South Australia and specializes in the evidence-based assessment and treatment of spinal and peripheral conditions, incorporating the Maitland approach into his practice.
Shah’s extensive experience spans both the private and public sectors, including work with local sports teams and the Victorian Weightlifters Association. His thorough assessment style and multi-modal approach to treatment include patient education, manual therapy, electrotherapy, soft tissue therapy, and shockwave therapy.
Shah is committed to providing personalized care, with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes for his patients. His areas of expertise include spinal injuries, sciatica, pinched nerves, knee and shoulder injuries, as well as acute and chronic conditions. With over three decades of experience, Sherry brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her physiotherapy practice. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University in 1990 and has since worked extensively in rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, helping countless patients recover from injuries and improve their overall well-being.
Sherry’s approach is hands-on, focusing on manual therapy techniques while actively engaging her patients in their own recovery. She strongly believes in empowering individuals through education and exercise-based rehabilitation, equipping them with the tools to manage their conditions effectively and prevent future injuries.
Her compassionate nature, combined with her commitment to evidence-based practice, ensures that every patient receives personalized and effective care. Whether treating acute injuries or chronic conditions, Sherry is dedicated to restoring movement, function, and quality of life.

Sean Koay
Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Originally from Malaysia, Sean’s passion for exploration and new experiences led him to Melbourne, where he pursued his Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. His diverse background spans aged care, home visits, and private practice, allowing him to develop a well-rounded approach to patient care.
Sean has a keen interest in treating lower back pain, shoulder injuries, chronic pain management, post-operative joint replacement rehabilitation, osteoarthritis, and falls prevention. He is dedicated to helping clients regain function, reduce pain, and achieve their personal goals through tailored treatment plans. His approach combines hands-on therapy with patient education and exercise-based rehabilitation, ensuring long-term success.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Sean values clear communication and cultural understanding in his practice. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family and exploring Melbourne’s vibrant food scene, parks, and cultural attractions.
Shirouz Elango
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist & Operations Lead
Originally from Singapore, Shirouz completed a Diploma in Health Science before earning his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Perth. Now based in Melbourne, he brings a dynamic and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy, drawing from both clinical experience and his entrepreneurial background.
With a strong interest in upper back and shoulder conditions, chronic lower back pain, and sports injuries, Shirouz has a particular focus on foot and ankle rehabilitation. His experience running a start-up specializing in custom 3D-printed insoles has given him unique insights into biomechanics and injury prevention, especially for runners and athletes.
Having completed an Ironman 70.3, Shirouz understands the physical demands of endurance sports and enjoys working with sports clientele, particularly runners, swimmers, and cyclists. He believes in a holistic approach to rehabilitation, combining hands-on therapy with functional movement training to help clients achieve their performance goals.
